Over Christmas, I was gifted with a Lee Big stopper filter, a system that I have had my eye on for some time.
The big stopper is a 10 stop ND filter - effectively reducing the amount of light getting to your sensor allowing for slow shutter speeds, which is perfect for Coastal and Waterfall photography.
So, I have been playing around with the filter for the last few weeks to get used to it. Although I still haven't yet visited a waterfall, I have spent some time on the coast. Here is a recent photo of the filter in action. Taken at Thatchers Point in Torquay.
