About

My interest in Photography started at college when I picked up a camera and decided that I liked the freedom it presented to capture the world in my own way.

My interest in Wildlife and the natural world sparked at a young age watching David Attenborough documentaries. Over the years, wildlife has developed into a passion, combining this with photography in turn, led me to Falmouth University, where in 2013 I graduated with an upper 2:1 degree in Marine and Natural History Photography.

Since then I have been lucky enough to visit New Zealand where I spent 2 months travelling and exploring the country with my husband. My passion for photography and travel keep growing and in the future I hope to travel to Africa and South America. I enjoy focusing on long projects where I can really get to know my subjects. I find that the longer you spend in a place, the more you will see the story.

In 2015, I was awarded Highly Commended in the British Wildlife Photography Awards for my fighting corncrake image.

When I'm not photographing wildlife I'm usually out photographing people. You can see my other work here.
